Welcome To Amboseli - Tsavo West

Tsavo West is a scenic marvel and its visit includes a stop at the Mzima springs and Rhino sanctuary. The tour explores Amboseli with its immense elephant herds including other wildlife species. Amboseli provides best vantage points to view the awesome free standing Mount Kilimanjaro-highest in Africa and its snow-capped peaks (weather permitting).

DAY 1: Nairobi - Amboseli

Upon arrival at the JKIA, you are met and greeted by us. We then transfer you to a city hotel for breakfast. Soon after you proceed south of Nairobi initially driving on Mombasa road before diverting on to the Namanga road on a drive to Amboseli. The scenery on this drive is predominantly of open wide spaces characterized by a sparse settlement system mainly along the road. You arrive at the Amboseli Serena lodge in time for lunch.
The early afternoon is spent at leisure within the lodge premises and in the evening you depart on a game drive till dusk.
Dinner and overnight at Lodge or Tented Camp.

DAY 2: Amboseli

At 6:00am you depart from your hotel and proceed for an early morning game drive in the Amboseli National Park. On a clear morning you will easily see the snow cup that crowns its peak from the comfort of your hotel room or while out on a game drive.
Most of this park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grasslands with patches of acacia woodland. It is in this park more than anywhere else perhaps in the continent that you are bound to see large herds of Elephants. Around 830am you return to the lodge to a delightful breakfast. The rest of the morning and early afternoon is spent at leisure within the hotel. Lunch at Lodge / Tented Camp. In the evening proceed on a game watching expedition till dusk. On a clear day the Sun set in the Amboseli is simply out of this world. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge or tented camp.

DAY 3: Amboseli - Tsavo west

You probably would want to wake up early in the morning if you want to catch the breathtaking view of the snow cup peak of Mount Kilimanjaro from the comfort of your hotel window; Soon after you proceed for an early morning game drive in the Park before returning to the lodge for sumptuous breakfast. You then check out and shortly after depart for the Tsavo West National Park via Chyulu Hills. Made famous by Micheal Douglous's & Val Kilmer's stared movie "The Ghost and the darkness" this Park is popular for its magnificent panaroma, diverse game, rock climbing potential just to mention afew attractions. It is also a sanctuary for rhinos You arrive at the Kilaguni Serena Lodge in time for a late lunch. Latter that afternoon you proceed on a game drive that will take you as far the Mzima Springs. “Mzima” means alive in Kiswahili. This is a peaceful oasis at the heart of red-dusty Tsavo. It is also the source of drinking water for the Mombasa region. This pool provides an oasis of green in an otherwise isolated environment, and is a haven for fishes, birds, monkeys, crocodiles and hippos. During this drive you also visit the Shetani Lava, a black lava flow that spreads approximately 8 km long, 1.6 km wide and 5 meters deep. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge or a similar standard hotel.

DAY 3: Tsavo west - Nairobi / Mombasa

After breakfast we depart Tsavo west with game en route to Nairobi / Mombasa Hotel or Airport.
