What to Expect | The Truck

Our Overland Safari itineraries can be customized to your taste. We'll adjust any itinerary or create a custom tour for Africa safari. The overland truck holds a maximum of 24 passengers, including guides and the cook, and are fully equipped for self-sufficient wild camping. We provide spacious two-person tents and camping equipment (mattress & Clean Sleeping Bags), cooking equipment and eating utensils. The kitchen includes a fire grill for cooking on wood, back-up Gas Cooker in case of rain, and Cooler Box. A large awning acts as a kitchen extension.

Truck Life

Life On the Road - Our days on the road can vary from 100km to 600km. We aim to have one long drive day (with 2 stop-overs) and then a few short ones. Most nights are spent at campsites; some have cold showers and others with hot water. To join this trip you need to be prepared to work as part of a team and to share with the others on the trip. Some of the things you'll never forget are the satisfaction of getting a 16 ton truck unstuck, cooking over open fires after collecting the firewood, pitching a tent and getting it right even when it rains, going to sleep when its dark and waking at dawn and wanting to get out of your sleeping bag to start another day!
